A group of Arcadia Students on Preview in Brazil got to shoot some hoops with non other than US born Olympic basketball player, Larry Taylor.
Students attended the Bauru professional team’s practice, where they were able to speak with Mr. Taylor about his time at the Olympics, among other things.
Dr. Douglas Turco, Associate Dean of The College of Global Studies, is accompanying them on their trip.

Day 3 Continued.. These are at Fox Glacier, which was roughly a 35 minutes tramp up to the viewing area. It’s amazing how the glacier gets smaller and smaller each year. There was a sign for back in 1750 the glacier was way past the car park. We were about 200 metres from the glacier and it was really neat! Once we were back at the car park, we drove off to Franz Joseph Glacier, which we were able to get a lot closer to on foot. We had lunch there.
