Program of the Week: Griffith University

Program

Griffith University can best be characterized as offering you incredible diversity as a study abroad destination. With five campuses spread from the arts and music precinct of the Southbank in Brisbane, to the forested suburban campuses of Nathan and Mt Gravatt, and finally to the modern Gold Coast Campus, Griffith offers campus environments to suit your own tastes and interests.

Eligibility

  • A GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • You must be in good academic standing
  • You must not be on disciplinary probation
  • Submit an application (which can be found here)
  • Application Deadlines: Fall Semester/Academic Year: March 15. Spring Semester: November 15

Student Perspective

Griffith University Gold Coast contributed so much to my time in Australia. I gained knowledge and understanding of this amazing country through not only my classes, but also through social events. Griffith is a very international campus, with students from all over the world attending, so it was a fantastic ground for me to learn more about other cultures as well as Australian culture. The Gold Coast campus is located just a short bus ride from the beach and extravagant downtown of Surfer’s Paradise, and an hour’s train ride from the ever lovely city of Brisbane. It is an ideal location, and I have gotten so much out of my experience here that one could get no where else in the world.
